Castle 4.23 ending scene without music score.

Two people in their early twenties would do this but me thinks a person in their 40s and a woman in her 30s would perhaps talk about things rather than simply following their desires.

you either a must not watch the show or realize that they’ve been waiting for this moment for 4 years…..

As I said people in the early twenties give in to their desires people who are in the 30s or 40s are usually more mature.

Been there not done that at that age!

But they’re in love with each other….

They do not know each other. They should have made that their first priority before having sex.

but thats the thing they do know each other. They’ve been partners for four straight years working for the NYPD and have been through kate almost dying in season 3 episode 24 and them both almost dying throughout their time together. They know each other so well that they have been waiting for this moment to finally come along. And it came and it was epic. And they’re engaged to be married now so i mean…..

They know each other and they have communication issues. They weren’t engaged when they first had sex. They did not even talk about where they were going. given both histories this was madness

So being engaged is required for them to have sex? She’s not a virgin and he isn’t either. She didn’t decide to wait until she was married. That was the whole thing about Beckett that thrilled and still continues to thrill Castle about beckett is that she has this crazy wild side she only shows in little glimpses. This scene is honestly one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. I love it because Beckett finally realizes that she can’t just keep pushing her feelings away for this man that very obviously loves her as he told her at the end of season three. She loves him so much and throughout all of season four she’s going back and forth with her feelings. Does she want to start something? Or does she still want to only be his partner in crime? She realizes finally she wants more. And she goes after it. Thats what is so beautiful about this scene.

I didn’t bring them being engaged you did.No they have to be open, have no secrets, be willing to share with each other. considering they did not have this BEFORE he proposed It is impossible to argue they have at this moment.

It is like they have learnt nothing from their failures of the past

But thats the thing. Its not failing. They’re getting through each and every hurdle as they come to it. I think it was at the end of season 4 when they’re on the swings and beckett says something along the lines of I have a lot of walls that need to come down before I can be totally open with you. And she over the past year of their relationship has done that. She’s completely herself with him and he’s the same with her and their relationship works well. Andrew Marlowe has written them so well and not forgotten a single detail of their story and so many of the small details are hugely important. The coffee, always and the things that kate wears like the watch and the necklace with her moms ring on it. Their relationship is bound to have flaws, they are only human after all but at the end of the day it works because they work through their problems and disagreements and they love each other so damn much.

Sorry they have both have had failures and ended with a broken heart. People in real life learn from this.

Whether one believes Beckett has walls or not and I do not this would have been the ideal time to be open with Castle and he with her.

Their many problems in series 5 emanate from this

Yes in the past they have with different people. And thats why they want their relationship to work so badly because they don’t want their relationship to fail like their other ones. They both have damage. And Beckett has a lot of walls. Thats how Marlowe wrote Beckett. And castle has lots of personal issues too but he’s just better at hiding them with humor.

you should then be agreeing with me. Relationships do not fail when people are open with each other , have no secrets and share and that is what i am saying they should have done here. If they had have then series 5 would have been like series 6 post DC job!

But thats the thing, they needed season five to see if it could work. It couldn’t all just be peaches and rainbows. Beckett said it would take time. And it did. For someone as complex as Beckett it takes time to fully open up especially to him. She never fully opened up to all her past boyfriends so why should he be different? He shouldn’t be. Beckett needed time and she took it. Here we are Season 6 and a majority of their kinks have been worked out.

The window breaks on its own!!! Even before the brick hits it. Beckett is so badass, the window is actually scared of her and just gives up.

So this little cigarette right here has sparked a whole new brand of TFiOS hate, much of which is coming from people who claimed to love the book.
Many people are now pointing out how “pretentious” Augustus is, and I can’t help but think, You’re only just now realizing this. He was written to be a seemingly pretentious and arrogant person. The acknowledgement of this is actually highly important because, without it, the book loses the message that a hero’s journey is that of strength to weakness.
Augustus Waters has big dreams for himself. He wants to be known and remembered; he wants to be a hero; he wants to be seen as perfect. But there’s already something standing in his way… He has a disability, and society tells him that a person cannot be both perfect and disabled. So what does he do? He creates a persona for himself. He tries to appear older and wiser than he is. But the pretentious side of him is NOT who he truly is. It’s all an act. (This is evident in the fact that he often uses words in the wrong context.)
And when his cancer returns, we begin to see his mask cracking. The true Augustus begins to bleed through… Hazel even takes notice of this from time to time. And by the time we get to the gas station scene, Augustus is no longer the picture of perfection he was when we met him. The play has been canceled. The actor must reveal himself. And he’s revealed to be a weak, defenseless boy, succumbing to the cancer that is made of him.
THE PRETENTIOUSNESS IS INTENTIONAL. It stands to show Augustus’s journey from flawless to flawed, from strong to weak. It’s the key to understanding that Augustus was the hero he always wanted to be, even if he didn’t realized it.

Loneliness is mainly caused by not being able to communicate the things important to yourself and being misunderstood by others.
